Lane offers over 30 athletics teams for students to join. We typically host summer camps, but at this time we are unable to do so. As restrictions change over the summer, updated information for individual teams and any summer conditioning information will be posted here.
All fall sports begin the week of August 17th. Additional information may be provided by head coaches prior to the start of the season. All athletes trying out for a fall sport must bring a completed IHSA Physical signed and dated by a physician to the first day of tryouts. Athletes who plan to try out for a Winter or Spring sport can turn their physical in to Ms. Milsap when school starts or on the first day of tryouts. We recommend that you keep a copy of all documentation at home.
This year, the COVID-19 pandemic has led the IHSA to make unprecedented scheduling changes in order to accommodate all sports over the course of the year in the safest manner possible. The following sports will be offered in the fall: Boys & Girls Cross Country, Boys & Girls Golf, Girls Swimming & Diving, and Girls Tennis. Click here for full information from the IHSA.
All students must pay the Athletic Transportation fee of $100 per season. The fee can be paid at Quick Start or in the Budget Office up until 1 week after the season begins. Cash, cashier’s checks, credit cards, and money orders are accepted. Email Assistant Athletic Director Jane Milsap at email@example.com with any questions.
Note: IHSA Physicals are also needed to participate in Lane Tech Summer Camps. Please make copies of your physical to be turned in to the coach on the first day of your Summer Camp. These physicals will not be returned to athletes. We also recommend keeping a copy for your own records.
