Linear Algebra
Course Code: 435301 (Regular)
This course provides an introduction to Linear Algebra, focusing on solving systems of linear equations, vectors and vector spaces, matrices and matrix operations, and eigenvalues over the first semester. The second semester will focus on applying the concepts of the first semester to real world problems. This will involve a pirate escape, arms control and warfare, search engine page ranking, picture transformations, game theory, linear optimization, cryptography, and other applications. A TI 83/84+ graphing calculator is required.
