About Us

The Lane Century Foundation was established in March 2004 by Lane Alumni to raise money to restore Lane's building and grounds. The initial goal of the Foundation was to raise $2,000,000 for the school's 2008 Centennial Celebration. Since then, the foundation has been ongoing, looking to support big projects as they are needed.

Funded Projects

  • Hosted a Tailgate event to benefit Lane Tech
  • New auditorium seats
  • Lights in the Lane Stadium
  • Supported the "Fields of Dreams" Committee proposal that resulted in a $200,000 NFL grant to install turf in the Lane Stadium
  • 1st Annual Open House for Alumni and Friends at Lane and their families
  • Sponsorship of the 1999 "Lost Mural" Rededication
  • Co-hosted Armed Forces Day Tribute with Lane Veterans

Future Projects

  • Redesign and convert the school lunchroom into a multipurpose room
  • Install air conditioning in the auditorium
  • Upgrade all athletic practice fields
  • Support various beautification projects throughout the building
  • Sponsor Annual Open House for Alumni, Friends of Lane and their families
