Incoming Freshmen Information

Lane Tech College Prep High School is a selective admissions school whose student body is chosen through a formula, which incorporates standardized test scores, attendance, academic grades, and the results of the entrance exam. Each year approximately 1,000 freshmen are chosen from more than 10,000 applicants. Students are encouraged to work with their elementary school counselor throughout the application process.

Lane Tech does not offer shadow days for prospective students or incoming freshmen. For information about the history of our school, visit the pages under "About us." For information about our academic offerings, visit our Curriculum Page or Digital Course Catalog.
